1969 Ford Mustang Boss

This 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 is one of approximately 850 examples produced for the model year and was built on May 20, 1969, as Kar Kraft number 1837. Originally delivered to Phil Long Ford in Colorado Springs, it is finished in Black Jade over a black vinyl interior with woodgrain appliqu�s on the dash, console, and door panels.
The car is powered by a 598ci Kaase Racing Engines V8 installed in 2018, paired with a four-speed manual transmission, McLeod twin-disc clutch, and a 4.11:1 Traction-Lok rear axle. Additional performance features include a Get'M Garage 1,650-cfm carburetor, Hedman headers, MSD 7AL ignition, Calvert Racing springs, and 15" Magnum 500-style wheels fitted with Cooper front and Mickey Thompson drag radial rear tires. A dyno test recorded 1,062 horsepower.
Exterior highlights include a functional hood scoop, Boss 429 badging, rear window louvers, and front disc/rear drum brakes with a rear anti-roll bar.
