Description
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible was refurbished under previous ownership and is finished in Matador Red with a power-operated white convertible top over a red and silver vinyl interior. Power is provided by a 283ci V8 paired with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Features include Power Pack cylinder heads, power steering, a wrap-around windshield, twin wind splits, dual side mirrors, styled tailfins, and electric windshield wipers.
The car rides on red-finished steel wheels with polished faux knockoff spinners and whitewall tires. The front and rear bench seats are trimmed in red and silver vinyl and complemented by matching door panels and carpets. Interior details include Bel Air dash badging, a Wonder Bar radio, a clock, and a heater with defroster. The two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring fronts a 120-mph speedometer along with gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.
The 283ci V8 is equipped with Power Pack cylinder heads and sends power to the rear wheels through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The battery has been replaced, and the car retains period-style presentation throughout.
