Description
This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS is powered by a 454ci LS6 V8 paired with a Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction limited-slip rear end. The car was refinished in Forest Green with white stripes and features a cowl-induction hood, SS badging, black grille, chrome bumpers, hideaway windshield wipers, and a driver-side mirror.
The suspension and chassis were overhauled during refurbishment, and the car rides on 14" Sport wheels fitted with reproduction F70-14 Goodyear Polyglas white-letter tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and steering is power-assisted.
The interior is equipped with front and rear black vinyl bench seats, a Muncie-branded shifter, an AM radio, a heater, and a three-spoke steering wheel framing a 120-mph speedometer and fuel gauge. The odometer shows just under 50k miles.
The LS6 454ci V8 produces 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, featuring a cowl induction system, a four-barrel carburetor, and an aluminum intake manifold.
